Whether you’re applying for a work or study visa to a country that allows you to enter visa-free or a tourist visa to a country that requires US citizens to have a visa, you should attach your passport-sized pictures as a supporting document. The pictures shouldn’t be older than six months.
Travel Health Insurance
US citizens who are immigrating to other countries need to show that they have travel health insurance that will cover the entire duration of their visit to another country. However, once you apply for permanent residence in the new country, you’ll not require US travel health insurance.
Sufficient Funds Proof
Whether you’re applying for a visit visa or a work or study permit, you need to show that you have sufficient funds to cover your cost of living in a new country. You also have to show that you have booked accommodation and a return flight ticket, especially if you’re visiting a new country as a tourist. If you have a letter of invitation from your destination country, you also need to present that when applying for immigration.
